How to Be Saved

God sent His only Son, Jesus, to earth to save us from sin and an eternity without Him. No one else could save us- only Christ was perfect enough and willing enough. Jesus Christ offered us the gift of salvation through His sacrifice. As God's only Son, He suffered and died for us so that we could be saved from sin. All we have to do is accept this gift. Salvation is for all; it is freely given – free of all charges!

1. Accept that you are sinner and are in need of forgiveness (Romans 3:23).

2. Believe that Christ died for you and His sacrifice can save you from sin (Romans 6:23, 1 John 2:2).

3. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus died, He rose, and He will return again. (Romans 10:9, 1 John 1:19)

4. Believe that God has forgiven you. Believe that he will fulfill his promise to baptize you with his Holy Spirit. (Mark 16:16, John 7:38, Acts 16:31).

5. Decide to actively pursue after God by praying regularly, reading his word, and serving his people. (1 Thessalonians 5:17, 2 Timothy 2:15, Galatians 5:13).

When you accept Christ's gift, it is important to surround yourself with Bible-believing Christians and connect with a Biblically-based church.
